The Penn State Flute Day is organized by Professor Naomi Seidman and the Penn State Flute Studio. The Penn State Flute Day celebrates and showcases the flute with masterclasses, seminars, recitals, and competitions. Flute Day is appropriate for players and teachers of all ages and levels.
The Fall 2019 Flute Day will take place on September 28, 2019 and is sponsored by the Penn State School of Music, Haynes Flutes, Windworks Studio, the Penn State Flute Club, and the Penn State Student Initiated Fee.
Special guests for the Fall 2019 Flute Day are: Marianne Gedigian and the Lyra Ensemble.

10:00-11:00am: Would you like to see a Central Pennsylvania Flute Association? If so, please join us for an informal meeting to discuss starting one. Discussion will be led by flutist Ashley Shank, light refreshments will be served.
11:00am-11:45pm : LYRA Ensemble Chamber Music Master Class
12:00pm-2:00pm : Marianne Gedigian Collegiate Masterclass, 6 participants will perform
